Preserving What Matters Most During Early Access
Welcome to MotherTree Early Access
By Cee, Founder of MotherTree.cloud

When I first set out to build MotherTree, it came from a deeply personal place: the desire to protect the voices, recipes, photographs, and memories that make our families who they are. Today, I am thrilled to welcome you to our Early Access period at MotherTree.cloud.
Every family has a unique story spanning generations, from handwritten recipe cards tucked into old cookbooks to hours of home video footage capturing irreplaceable smiles. MotherTree was created to bring those moments out of dusty attics and scattered group chats, giving them a permanent, interactive home where every generation can connect.
What Is Working in Early Access Right Now
During our Early Access phase, you can jump right in and explore a powerful suite of features designed to preserve and organize your family heritage:
Interactive 2D Genealogy Hub: Map out your full family lineage with intuitive relationship controls. Add parents, children, siblings, extended cousins, and even beloved family pets. Easily switch between Family Focus views and Ancestor Pedigree modes, or import GEDCOM files like Ancestry.com and other similar sites to auto match and populate your tree.
Living Life Stories and Audiobooks: Capture oral histories effortlessly. Record spoken memories for any relative directly in the platform. MotherTree automatically transcribes your voice into written biography chapters while building a streamable digital audiobook.
Organized Image Gallery with Transcription: Store high resolution scans, document photos, and heirloom images. Organize everything into preset or custom categories like Recipes, Letters, or Military records. Our built in optical recognition automatically transcribes handwritten notes and recipe cards into copyable text.
Ask MotherTree Intelligent Search: Search across your entire archive using plain English. Ask questions like "Where is that pork and beans recipe from my childhood?" to instantly locate matching photos, transcribed documents, videos, and related family members.
Home Theater for Video Archives: Relive old home movies with automatically generated 60 second highlight clips and chapter markers for videos over 5 minutes. Use our Add a Leaf feature to let relatives record their own voice or video responses directly on top of shared clips, adding rich layers of history to every memory.
